Our Sheldon location offers a unique, nature-inspired learning experience across two acres filled with farm animals, outdoor play areas, and natural learning environments. Our Preschool Program, tailored for children ages 2-6, includes three main classes: Preschool Prep (including potty training support), Preschool, and Pre-Kindergarten. Each classroom blends play-based learning with structured activities, nurturing each child’s curiosity, creativity, and social development. Surrounded by natural beauty, our children experience the joy of learning in a setting that feels like a second home.
In the Preschool Prep class, our youngest learners begin their preschool adventure in a welcoming environment designed for exploration. With a focus on social-emotional development and foundational motor skills, children engage in hands-on activities with gentle guidance. Potty training support is a part of this class, helping children gain confidence as they develop self-care skills. With farm animals and natural play areas nearby, children connect with nature as they explore and discover the world around them.
The Pre-Kindergarten classroom prepares children for the transition to elementary school. With a curriculum centered on kindergarten readiness, children focus on pre-reading, early math, and science exploration. Interactive activities, including nature walks, animal care, and hands-on experiments, nurture critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills. Small group instruction ensures each child receives personalized attention, building the confidence and skills they need for a successful start to school.
The Pre-Kindergarten classroom prepares children for the next step in their educational journey. Focused on kindergarten readiness, our curriculum emphasizes pre-reading, early math skills, science exploration, and social-emotional learning. Children engage in hands-on experiments, creative arts, and interactive storytelling, fostering critical thinking and creativity.
