Moore Learning was a beautiful experience for our daughter. As an educator myself, I was very keen on touring various preschools and looking for qualities that make me feel like my child is going to grow and is safe. Their philosophy is much more creative and evidence-based, promoting more independence and exploration which was refreshing compared to the other preschools I toured. The interior is very homey, clean, and creative. They are always making upgrades and changing it up, keeping it refreshed. The cost is comparable to other preschools I toured. The teachers are phenomenal. My girl had Ms. Emma, Ms. Tasha, and Ms. Esther. I love the clear communication, and they were all so patient and sweet but still had high expectations for the kiddos. Moore's uses an app to check in and out. I got so many adorable pictures of my girl throughout the day with updates on what she was doing and what she ate that made me feel at ease. Ms. Yasmeen is the assistant director, always at the site. She is so sweet and helpful. She loves the kids, always getting them little trinkets for special occasions and helping out in all areas. Moore's curriculum is very organized with themes changing each month like space, sea animals, cooking, and so on. The art is actually made by the students themselves to encourage creativity. By the end, my girl was drawing her whole family on many of the art projects she brought back. Quite a bit of focus on handwriting as well, which I appreciated. The kiddos get an abundance of playtime outside with all the cool obstacles and activities they have out there. Moore has many guest presenters like Dan the pirate who come and talk about their professions. My girl learned so much and would always tell me little facts that she learned at school. Moore's has a plethora of events throughout the year. My girl attended the Thanksgiving, Easter Egg Hunt, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day Tea Party and so on. There are many others such as the Trunk-or-Treat and pretty much something for every holiday. They also do free photoshoots with Santa and the Easter Bunny! Overall, I am overly pleased with the experience here. My girl made so many friends and even got invited to her first birthday party here from a classmate. I feel very blessed and thankful for Moore Learning and I highly recommend!!

Moore learning has been literally amazing !!! My sons love going there. They do such fun activities with the kids and I love how much outdoor play they do ! Water days in the summer are my kids favorite ! All the staff is so kind and patient. My 4 year old has some difficulty with change and transitioning and they 100% understand and are so patient with him about it. He also can have some trouble napping and unlike his prior daycare they don't send him home or punish him for that. They let him help until he is ready to lay down. I love love love Moore Learning and am so glad I found them. My sons are 4 and 1.5 for reference. The teachers, activities and amazing center is so worth it !!! They even send pictures on their app throughout the day ! Give updates on meals and activities they did throughout they day. What they ate for lunch/snacks.

The whole family absolutely loved Moore! My son was initially going to another preschool and we were unhappy with the service and were nervous trusting another preschool, but we are so lucky we came across Moore Learning. They are absolutely amazing! Frisha,the owner always makes time to talk and she truly makes each kid feel special and important. She hires kind, fun, experienced teachers and she hosts super fun family events around the holidays. Ms. Bridgette in the front was always welcoming and excited for each new day especially on the hard mornings when my son was sad for me to leave. I highly recommend Moore Learning to any child!

I'm very satisfied with the care my Son receives from Moore Learning. Miss. Roslyn and Miss Katherine have help my son immensely grow and develop his skills that we will have for life. They are highly qualified and I have a peace of mind drop him off everyday. Thank you for being apart of my tribe

There are so many wonderful things that I can say about Moore and all the staff there! From our first tour all the way to enrollment, Ms. Frisha and Ms. Bridget were extremely helpful to this first time mom! I enrolled my daughter when she was 10 months and she is having a blast there!!! I was nervous about leaving her for so long (full time 8-5pm) but everyone there made the transition so easy. All her teachers are so loving and attentive towards her - Ms. Ester, Ms. Marlene, Ms. Jessica, Ms. La and Ms. Victoria - Y'all are the dream team!!! They share the best photos and keep me thoroughly updated on her feedings, changings, boo-boo's and all the engaging activities they do together! We're so glad we found Moore and we really appreciate all the hard work you put into making this an awesome & safe center. Thank you for taking such good care of our girl!

I'm so happy I enrolled my son in Moore Learning Preschool. This school is amazing! I really love how they have the kids day on a schedule which keeps them engaged and know what to expect in their day. I can tell how much he has learned and grown in just the first month of him attending. He's so excited to go to school and see all the kids and teachers. The teachers/admin are all so sweet and so engaged in teaching the kids. Frisha and Bridget are so welcoming and made the whole process smooth. Will definitely have all my kids attend preschool here soon.

My son has been attending Moore Learning Preschool since the summer of 2018. I originally selected this center because of the beautiful large outdoor play area, which is surrounded by trees and secured with multiple gates. The building is a very secure location, hundreds of feet off of Elk Grove Blvd. The staff and director, Ms. Frisha, provide a sense of family care that you just don't find with the run-of-the-mill corporate childcare centers. The teachers update me monthly regarding learning progress, what is going well, and opportunities for growth. Ms. Frisha has also worked to formulate an activity list for me to use with my boy in our free time, which has been a lifesaver with the current COVID situation. The center works to keep parents included and connected. I remember the 2019 "trunk-or-treat" event that was put on. Teachers stayed after the center was closed, dressed in costumes and coordinating games for the children; other parents volunteering to decorate vehicles and pass out candy. As a single dad relatively new to the area, it connected me to other parents of my son's classmates and also provided a great Friday night event that required very little planning on my part! Really felt like we were part of the Moore Learning family community. The current entry/exit COVID protocol makes me feel as safe and secure as possible. The children are all instructed to have their temperatures taken and place their shoes outside before entering the classrooms. Parents are required to wear masks when entering the Learning facility. Initially I was concerned regarding bacteria and cleanliness of the facility with the current virus situation; Ms. Frisha walked me through the cleaning procedures each night, which include use of UV Light Sanitizers in each classroom. Moore Learning's investment in this sanitation equipment and the staff's attention to detail make me feel much better in the current environmental conditions! At the end of the day, learning is what it's all about. The play based learning philosophy that the staff incorporates into their daily activities has worked to improve my son's fine motor skills and problem solving abilities. I couldn't be happier with the quality of education and care that my son receives here on a daily basis. Don't settle for anything less than this place has to offer!

I'm responding to the recent one-star review about the crying baby, which I think is not merited at all. We've had an awesome experience with Moore Learning, Ms. Frisha, and all the teachers there. I'm actually the parent of the toddler that was crying and honestly, I can't even console my son. I certainly don't blame the teachers for not being able to either. This is his first time attending daycare, it's only been about a month, so it's been a really rough transition for him. He also had been sick and is teething so this last week he's just been extra miserable and crying all. the. time. Even at home, and yes, even with his parents. I really appreciate everyone at Moore Learning Center because they've been so patient and accommodating with a toddler that has just been having a tough time. The teachers always hold and console him when I drop him off (because he still cries every time), they give us a thorough update of how he did, how long he cried, and they've been especially accommodating with his diet since he also has a lot of food allergies. I truly appreciate how accommodating they've been with all the high needs that my son has. I've never felt like my son was being neglected. On the contrary, I feel like the teachers are doing their very best with a particularly difficult child. Unfortunately, the negative review is taken out of context and is making sweeping assumptions about a really great local business. I am glad we found Moore Learning Center, we are so happy there and we appreciate Ms. Frisha and all the hard-working teachers there that do so much for us and our son.

Moore Learning is our sons second home. The staff have been wonderful since day one (even on his toughest days ). He is excited to get up and go to "school" everyday! We love the learning through play approach, the individual support each child receives, the encouragement to build friendships, and the open communication with families. They have been rockstars during the crazy turn of events brought on by COVID, we truly couldn't have asked for a better place for our son to spend everyday! We are so incredibly appreciative to have such an amazing, safe and fun place for our son to grow.

Frisha is hands down one of the most caring people I have ever met. I've witnessed her treat every child in her care as her own, there's no one I'd trust more with my child then her.

My daughter has been with Frisha since she had a small in-home daycare, and my three month old baby just joined her at the new center. I had been a stay-at-home mom until my daughter was nearly two. Finding quality care that wouldn't cost my whole paycheck was so difficult, and I was definitely nervous to trust someone with my baby girl. Dropping my kids off with Frisha has always felt like I was leaving them with family. All of the teachers are warm and affectionate, but don't hesitate to correct the kids when needed. My daughter has thrived there, she's three and knows all her letters, numbers, colors, shapes, and is even starting to learn how to read! They also did a great job helping her potty train, and made my transition back into work much easier both times by sending pictures and giving lots of updates I feel so lucky I found Moore Learning, I love that it's a locally-owned business with an owner/director with a true passion for child development, rather than a corporate center--the difference really shows.

Both of my boys attended Moore Learning Center which my baby is still attending, and i am so grateful for that I found this center to care for my children while I'm at work. It's such a relief being able to leave your children with someone that you know is going to take good care of them. After all, our kids spend a lot at daycare so it's so important to us as parents to make sure they are with people who care, are attentive and take good care of them. I'm updated all throughout the day with pictures, they keep me updated on diaper changes, feedings, even if your little one stumbles and falls, you are notified immediately. They do activities with him, and he absolutely loves his teachers Miss Dee Dee and Miss Marlene. I cannot express how sweet and attentive these two are, along with everyone at the center. Its been a pleasure working with PJ and Frisha as well. Thank you all for all that you do, and for caring for our little one just as we would. If you are considering Moore Learning Center, you've made the right choice!

My son who is 8 months old now, attends Moore Learning Center (Infant program) and he just loves it there. We are stress free when we are at work since we know that he is in great care. All the teachers are really caring. They diligently note down his diaper changes, his feedings and always welcome any suggestions that we have. The center is well organized and maintained. The infant classroom is very clean and tidy. We have always felt welcoming.

As a parent, you always question if the decisions you're making are the best for your child. I can tell you that moving my child to this school has been the absolute best decision. It honestly feels like I'm dropping my son off with family when leaving him with Frisha. She has been absolutely wonderful and gone above and beyond for me and my son. It truly shows how much she loves what she does and her hard work shows through her beautiful center. The teachers are so great and caring I know that my son is getting personalized care and attention. My son looks forward to going to school and sharing with me what he's done that day. They have an awesome app as well that sends me pictures and keeps me updated and well informed on how he's doing throughout the day which is a great feeling while you are away from your child. I feel so grateful and blessed to have found Frisha I really couldn't recommend her more!

My son has been going to Moore for a few months now and is absolutely loving it. He is growing and hitting every milestone thanks to the attention and care he receives there. He has the most amazing teacher who constantly keeps me updated and provides him with the same love he would receive at home! Highly recommended.

My children have attended Moore Learning Preschool & Childcare Center for over a year now. We have been extremely blessed to have such an amazing care team to trust our children's care and well-being. Frisha and PJ (owners) are extremely professional, easy to talk to and have been nothing short of a miracle in our busy lives! If any bumps in the road have come up, these ladies are the first to help solve the problem. My girls rave about their time spent here and do not want to miss a day.

My 2 children, (1 toddler 1 school age )go here & we love all the great teachers! The owner is a wonderful person & makes me feel comfortable leaving my children here & I know they are being taken care of!

Moore Learning Center is a great preschool/daycare for my two daughters ages 4 and 5. The classrooms are always neat, clean and well organized. The learning environment is positive and the staff are friendly and professional at all times. I highly recommend Moore Learning Center for your child care needs.

Prior to starting, the staff was amazingly helpful in offering information and giving a tour of the facility. We needed immediate childcare services, they had openings in each classroom for the two age groups we needed, provided transportation after school & seemed to have fair pricing including military and sibling discounts! Payments are easy to make & the facility was welcoming & overall felt very safe. We've been with them one week so far and are very pleased with the choice we made in starting our children here!

I love love love this preschool!!! play based learning is the best way for children to learn. the staff is very loving, kind and supportive. I am in a very demanding nursing program and I feel so absent at times and the guilt hurts after being SHM for so many years. They always send my pictures and daily electronic updates and it makes me so happy to see my baby girl thriving and happy. painting, learing, stamping. coloring, getting dirty even, all the things kids learn through and that we sometimes as parents don't have enough time to do more of! My baby girl is so happy there and it doesn't matter who I drop her off too or pick her up from, even though she has her favorites mom and dad, she goes to everyone and is loved by everyone. They also have the best meals of anywhere I have ever taken any of my 4 kids too. She loves the food! I feel immense relief knowing my daughter is loved, cared for, respected, taught how to be a good person and I never ever worry after I drop her off. She is there 11 hours a day. It's hard on us too, but my schooling will pay off and it's only for a season. I'm just glad the family we've made at Moore Learning Center was there for us when we needed them. We are blessed to have them helping to raise our precious almost 4 year old baby girl. I can't say enough about how great they are! oh! they also take child action and offer transportation...both very hard to find together! plus they support veterans!!!

Moore Learning has been, by far, the best daycare center we've ever encountered. All thr staff are incredibly sincere and the management is super accommodating. And the prices are right. We left the Bay Area (and its prices!) and moved to Elk Grove a little more than six months ago. We weren't used to the new track schedules that the elementary schools have here and were so nervous about after school pick up programs. Moore Learning has made our transition so smooth. They pick our 2nd grader up every day, despite his funky schedule, and he had a fantastic time while at the after school program. And our two year old adores her teachers. My husband and I highly recommend Moore Learning!

My daughters attend Moore Learning and we love it. My oldest start when she was just 18 months and my youngest was 6 months....and they are now 4 and 3. We started when it was an in home daycare...like all parents you are often overwhelmed by the thought of having a stranger look after your kids. When we met Frisha, my oldest, immediately liked her and we did too. I was still pregnant with my youngest. I felt the love and warmth from her and how she really was born to do this. You just know when you meet the person that they are the right fit. And when she mentioned to me about opening up the center, I immediately said, we will go with you there. My girls have trouble adjusting to change and she has made the transitions unnoticeable for them. Which puts me at ease. I wholeheartedly trust her with my girls. We are very fond of her and highly recommend her the center. We see daily how much our girls learn and love it there and that is priceless.

When we moved here I didn't have any connections to a daycare. I knew I wanted a home daycare because we had had a traumatic experience at a large daycare center in the Bay Area. I remember I picked Frisha's Moore Learning, which was in her house at the time, because of her face. I looked at her picture and thought, my children will like her. My children started when they were 2 & 4. They had a great day from day 1. With how they had been treated at the previous center, I was very nervous, but her warmth is real and she put them at ease. My son learned everything he needed to know from her in order to enter Kindergarten. I had always read to him & sung songs, but I never worked on anything else, such as writing or math. That was all her. In fact, when the day came for his pre-kinder testing, I couldn't take the morning off and so, she took him (which I am still so grateful for). When he entered kinder, she dropped him off, picked him up, fed him lunch & put him down for a nap. In the afternoon he played. Moore Learning picks up & drops off at several schools in the area. I believe they are open from 6-6. Playing is how the children learn there. They learn everything they need to know by playing. This is her motto & it works. I honestly feel my daughter could enter kindergarten now if she were old enough. My daughter was 2. She has grown so much since being there. She has made close friendships that I believe will last a lifetime. I read a previous review here about a child's issue with a diaper. My daughter was fully in diapers for her first year and never had a rash. When she turned 3, Frisha was a huge help with potty training. I also want to mention that my children have allergies & she handles those issues with incredible care. I feel very safe having them there. Moore Learning is totally nut free. I know she works with whatever nutritional guidelines you have for your children. They are served breakfast, lunch & a snack. There is a cook for lunch that makes healthy, delicious meals. As for events, for the upper grade kiddos (1st-6th), she takes field trips each summer, which parents can volunteer for if they have the time. I've been able to go & have had fun. In the summer, every Tuesday & Thursday is water play day. My kids really enjoy that day. They also have an annual Christmas party for families. In the summer of 2017, Frisha told me she was opening a center. I remember the conversation. She told me she knew how I felt about centers, but this would be HER center...and that, truly, is what made all the difference. I feel like we are all a part of it. I even helped with the demo of the old kindercare that was in there before. Other parents helped put in an orchard and garden. When Frisha and PJ, her mom & partner, opened it, I was AMAZED with how BEAUTIFUL her center is. The outside of her facility rivals most parks and my daughter loves outside time. Most importantly, I always have felt that with anyone she hired, they knew & loved my children. I believe her prices are still on her website. I like that she posted them when I was looking so I knew. I found they were competitive with other places.

Moore Learning is such a great preschool/daycare center. Mrs. Frisha has had my youngest since he was 3 and she was still in home(3 years now). My oldest began going here for after school care about a year ago. They both love it and are always disappointed to get picked up. The teachers are awesome. Christian absolutely loves Miss Julie. They have so much fun playing outside, learning, and doing activities. It's so nice to have somewhere reliable and caring to leave my boys while I'm at work.
